So, India managed to win comprehensively in the ODI series and now it’s time for the only T20I scheduled between the two teams. India will remain unchanged most probably even for the T20I while West Indies will follow up with their T20I squad lead by Carlos Brathwaite. We’ll have to wait and watch how the T20I team responds to the challenge after a dismal performance from West Indies in the ODIs.
India vs West Indies T20I Astrological Prediction
Even though in T20Is it’s completely a different ball game but India still remain the favorites. Their openers have been in great form lately and the bowlers are doing a great job too. But if the change of format can change the performance of West Indians as well then we can have a close finish for sure.
India have the same squad for the T20I match as well. So, they will expect something special from the bats of Rahane, Dhawan and Kohli. Kohli will, especially, be in the spotlight considering the way he came back in the last ODI to play a flawless 111 runs knock and was still unbeaten. Rahane was the top scorer in the series with 336 runs to his credit in 5 matches. So, let’s see how the Indian batsmen will rise to the occasion and how they can turn up in the shortest format of the game.
As for their bowling, they troubled the West Indian bowlers right throughout. Either of Kumar and Shami is expected to get a game. Kuldeep Yadav will have to be watched out for as he shared the highest wickets with Jason Holder in the ODIs. He was the only spinner to really cause troubles to the opposition batsmen.
West Indies will be having some of their big names back to the squad with Chris Gayle and Marlon Samuels right on the front. But they will be expecting a good knock from Ewin Lewis up front as well considering the fact that one is long due on him now and there couldn’t be a better stage for that than a one-off T20I at home. Let’s see how experienced batsmen will pay off as well.
In the bowling department, West Indies will be expecting something special from their spinners with the likes of Sunil Narine and Samuel Badree. Brathwaite and Taylor are expected to share the new ball and if they get a couple of early wickets then West Indies will be right into this.
