It’s now time for the second T20 between the two sides and we expect yet another enthralling game of cricket at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. Pakistan is already 1-up in the series and let’s see if World XI can bring it back to level-pegging or not.
Pakistan vs World XI 2nd T20I Astrological Prediction
Pakistan looked the favorites in the 1st T20 being the home side and they proved that with an emphatic win on Tuesday. Now it’s time for them to do that again in the 2nd T20I and they’ll be expected to come up with yet another whole hearted performance. Talking about Pakistan vs World XI 2nd T20I prediction, Pakistan remain the favorites to win this one as well. However, World XI are expected to inch-closer this time around.
Babar Azam’s fluent 86 from just 52 balls helped Pakistan post a big total on the board in the last match where they managed to get 197 for 5 in the last game. He’ll be up for yet another similar innings. Shoaib Malik played a handy knock of 38 in the middle besides Shehzad’s crafty 39 at the top. All these will be expected to show their class yet again against the best in the world. However, Fakhar Zaman will be expected to do a bit more and cherish the crazy fans in the ground. He’ll definitely be expected to show the glimpses of his batting in Champions Trophy.
As for their bowling, Shadab Khan was the pick of the bowlers in the last game and he will be expected to play similar role here again. He picked 2 for 33 in his 4 overs picking up important wickets of du Plessis and Miller. Sohail Khan’s slower-ones were pretty impressive as he also grabbed a couple alongside Rumman Raees who picked first 2 wickets to hold World XI back.
Tamim and Amla gave a good enough start to World XI getting 18 and 26 respectively. But after both of them fell in the same over, World XI’s worries started. None of the other batsmen could stay at the wicket and play a big knock. Yes, there were little cameos from Paine, du Plessis, Sammy and Perera, but they really needed a big innings like that of Babar Azam. If someone had managed to anchor the innings for them, the result could have been a lot different. If they have to win it against Pakistan in the 2nd T20I, their top 4 will really have to play quick and big innings. At least, one of the top four really need to anchor the innings for them in order to turn the result in their favor.
World XI bowlers also seemed helpless against the brilliance of Babar Azam the other day. After Morne Morkel managed to pick up Fakhar Zaman in the first over, no wicket fell for the next 13 overs and there was 122 runs partnership between Azam and Shehzad. Perera picked up 2 wickets towards the end to hold Pakistan back but he was the most expensive of the lot. Morkel, Cutting and Tahir picked up 1 wicket each as well.
