Pakistan vs World XI 2nd T20I Live Streaming
Pakistanis looked right on top from the start of the game the other day as they managed to post a mammoth of 197 runs on the board while batting first. Such a big target was really hard for the World XI to chase down and all they could manage was a good performance in bits and pieces. There was no solid performance from them with the bat that could have helped them chase down 198. Every time a partnership seemed to be building, Pakistani bowlers came up with a breakthrough and that eventually lead to the demise of the World Xi despite a star studded lineup. But now we’re approaching the 2nd T20I between the two sides and let’s see who comes on top today!
Babar Azam came out on top in the last game with his blasting 52-ball 86 runs knock and will be expected to repeat the same in second T20I for Pakistan as well. He was aggressive, he was fluent and he was dominating the other day. That’s exactly what Pakistan need from him and other batsmen in the group. Ahmad Shehzad also played a promising 39 runs knock and will pose some serious threats to the opponent in the second T20I. Same was the case with Shoaib Malik who played splendidly for his little cameo of 38 from just 20 balls. They also have some power hitters in Faheem Ashraf and Imad Wasim as well. In fact, Imad showed his capabilities in the last over of the 1st T20I as he scored 15 from just 4 balls with a couple of sixes.
Pakistan didn’t feel the absence of Mohammad Amir in the first game but their pacers will have to be spot on, especially Hasan Ali who went for plenty the other day. Rumman Raees and Sohail Khan were special with 2 wickets each and so was Shadab Khan with a couple of key wickets.
World XI Strengths
Despite all the stars playing for the World XI they were unable to chase down 198 in the first T20I against a formidable Pakistani bowling lineup. Amla and Tamim prove to be their real strength as they provided them with a good enough start and will be expected to repeat that performance in 2nd T20I. In fact, they’ll have to do a lot more in order to make sure that they give Pakistan tough time out there. And, at least, one of their batsmen will have to anchor the innings like Babar Azam did for Pakistan the other day. Du Plessis appeared to be doing the same for World XI in the 1st T20 before he got strangled into a googly from Shadab Khan. So, they’ll expect a better effort overall from him alongside Miller, Perera, Sammy and the rest of the crew.
In the bowling department, they might want to bring in Samuel Badree for the second T20I considering the way Shadab and Tahir bowled in the first game. Other than that, they’ll expect something special from Morkel, Cutting and Tahir to make sure they get over the line this time around.
