Cricket returns to Pakistan again with a star-studded World XI team touring Pakistan from 12th to 15th September for 3 T20Is. It’s a great achievement for Pakistan cricket and now we’re all set for the 1st T20 between Pakistan and World XI at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. Both the teams are well-balanced and it is going to be one hell of an affair and we can very much expect a last ball finish.
Pakistan VS World XI 1st T20I Astrological Prediction
As for our prediction, Pakistan are going to win the 1st T20I for sure. They’re coming after a Champions Trophy victory under Sarfaraz Ahmed and that’s going to count a lot towards confidence of the team. Safaraz himself is one of the most successful T20 captain in domestic circuit as well and he knows exactly how to utilize his options. However, we can’t completely rule out World XI’s chances to win the game on 12th September as they also have got a very well-balanced squad with some of the best cricketers from around the world in that team. So, we can expect to have a nail-biting finish in the 1st T20I.
Pakistan have brought back a few players to the side for the T20Is and Ahmed Shehzad is on top of them. But they will be expecting a major role from Fakhar Zaman at the top. Zaman really emerged as a star in the Champions trophy with back-to-back fifties and then a solid hundred in the final. So, everyone will be looking forward to watch him playing in front of the home crowd in Lahore. Besides, Babar Azam and Shoaib Malik seem in good touch in the T20s and will play a key part for Pakistan with the bat. Captain Sarfaraz will also have a role to play with the bat.
As for their bowling, Hasan Ali has emerged as their bowling spearhead alongside Mohammad Amir whose pace can dismantle any batting lineup out there. Rumman Raees might get a chance to play his gimmicks as well. It will also be a treat to watch young leggie, Shadab Khan, bowl in front of home crowd.
For World XI, Faf du Plessis will be seen as captain and we know how dangerous he can be with the bat on his day. In fact, they have three key batsmen from South Africa including du Plessis, the other two being Hashim Amla and David Miller. But we expect a Tamim, Amla opening duo and that will be quite exciting to watch. In the middle order, they might go with Bailey, Elliott, Paine and Perera. So, we can say even World XI has a good, well-balanced batting lineup with both aggressive and sensible players up their ranks.
Their bowling department is strong enough as well with Ben Cutting and Morne Morkel to lead the pace attack. We know, Elliott, Perera and Sammy can bowl as well. So, it will be the matter of who gets a chance in the final XI. They also have a couple of quality spinners as well in the form of Samuel Badree and Imran Tahir. Tahir will be the first choice spinner for du Plessis, obviously and it will be interesting to watch him bowl on his homeland while representing World XI from South Africa.
So, it doesn’t matter who wins it on Tuesday, it’s actually about the bigger picture. If all goes well during these three T20Is, soon major teams will start touring Pakistan for full series across all formats. But, at the moment, let’s enjoy this exhibition series and some good cricket between Pakistan and World XI.
